Internet est un fabuleux outils de découverte, un Everest de connaissances, un voyage (inter)planétaire qui met à portée de main les bibliothèques de légende comme les Musées les plus prestigieux... à condition de vérifier dans des ouvrages de référence, sinon l'exactitude, au moins la plausibilité des informations, voire des scoops, dénichés au fil des pages !

Tous ces livres ne me servent qu'à vérifier les informations trouvées ça et là... mais lorsque la tentation est trop forte pour l'intérêt de mon site, j'avoue scanner certaines photos pour les intégrer à mes pages.
Faute avouée est à moitié pardonnée, dit-on ?
D'abord je tiens à préciser certaines choses :
- Les scans issus de ces livres pourraient fournir des images de 2500 x 1500 pixels, que je ramène à 650 x 480 pixels, au maximum, avant de les mettre en ligne. Donc, même si elles apparaissent de façon très lisibles à l'écran, elles sont impropres à toute publication "print", ce qui en réduit d'autant l'utilisation et respecte en quelques sortes la propriété de l'auteur du livre.
- D'autre part, c'est en découvrant sur de nombreux sites (Pinterest par exemple) des photos directement issues de ces ouvrages qu'il m'est venu l'envie d'en savoir plus... pour au final... acheter le livre ! Puis-je à mon tour, par les photos et commentaires de mon site, provoquer les mêmes envies et, ainsi, contribuer à la diffusion de ces ouvrages de référence ?
- Pour cela, vous trouverez - à chaque page - en haut et à droite, la liste bibliographique et webographique utilisée à leur composition !!! Chaque lien web est actif et permet d'accéder à la page m'ayant servi de référence (...si elle existe encore... ce qui me permet modestement de me considérer quelque-part comme "le gardien du temple"...)
- De plus, un lien contact@automobileweb.net permet aux visiteurs (et aux propriétaires de ces données) d'intervenir au moindre problème rencontré... Je ne manque jamais d'y répondre.
Je remarque souvent, et ça m'amuse beaucoup... certains sites qui signent leurs "trouvailles" de façon totalement injustifiée et s'aproprient des documents dont ils n'ont aucun droits !
- Et pour finir, je rencontre souvent des informations contradictoires... Laquelle est la bonne ? ne sont-elles pas, chacune, à la fois exactes ? Difficile de trancher... mais l'important n'est-t'il pas finalement d'en discuter ?
